Peer Monitor Tool

I came across this handy tool (Peer Monitor) which uses simple ping (ICMP request) to monitor end devices.

Once installed, you have few options to set specific IP addresses you want to monitor on your network  as show in the fig below:

Any IP enabled device can be quickly configured and monitored using this tool; other options include Traceroutes and trip times (RTT).

Overall great tool for basic monitoring on your workstation and possibly a small network.
