Here is how you will set-up SPAN (Port mirror) session on a Nortel Baystack switch:
Select Switch configuration...
Select "Port Mirroring Configuration"....
From the menu set "Monitoring Mode" <->Port X (for both Incoming/Outgoing traffic)
Monitoring Unit/Port: [{Switch unit}/{Port no.}] (Monitor Port=Destination Port)
Unit/Port X:[{Switch unit}/{Port no.}] (Port to be Monitored = Source Port)
Once you have selected you options press Enter to apply
That's it you are ready to monitor port 1/20 on SPAN port 1/22
